Welcome to Prep
|
2008 is the second year of Prep at Narangba State School.
We have three groups of active learners, the Prep A and Prep B with one composite class Class Prep/1, and our curriculum is play-based with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy.
The Prep rooms are bright and spacious and are staffed by qualified Early Childhood teachers and teacher aides. At Narangba Prep, the children wear the green school uniform with a bright gold sun safe hat.
The preparatory year in Queensland is not compulsory, however, it operates as an integral part of the State School system. The Prep hours are from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

SunSafe
Hats should be worn to and from school and throughout the day when outdoors. The ‘no hat, no play’ rule is strictly enforced at Narangba. Students who do not have a sunsafe hat will be required to sit in the undercover area during playtime. |

Thank you to the many families who supported the P&C during the recent pie drive. The total profit was $825.00, which will be put towards buying more resources for the students in our school.

Safety please
No ring pull tins of tuna, spaghetti etc for lunches as they are extremely sharp.

Wednesday and Friday are money collection days.

Morning Arrival
School commences at 9.00am. The get ready bell rings at 8.45am. Students arriving prior to then must report to the covered area. In the covered area, students are to remain seated until the bell goes.
