Awards Day


Here is a quick overview of the awards that will be presented on the awards morning to eligible students on Friday December 6 starting at 9:30am.  Students in years 1 to 7 will be eligible for gold, silver or bronze academic awards.
Students in years 1 to 7 will also be eligible for a Citizenship Award one per class, teacher’s choice for leadership, good citizenship in the classroom, Academic Award one per class, teacher’s choice for best academic performer and Most Consistent or Most Conscientious Worker, one per class, teacher’s choice.
Students in year 7 will also be eligible for “Dux’ which is awarded to the student with the highest academic results in year 7 and the All Rounder Award presented to the student who has achieved across academic, sporting and cultural contexts and the Community Service Award donated by QUT Caboolture Campus and the Performing Arts Award donated by Macrosphere.
Students in prep to year 3 will be presented with You Can Do It certificates recognising personal achievement in one of the five Keys for Success which include Confidence, Emotional Resilience, Persistence, Organisation and Getting Along. These certificates will not be presented at the awards ceremony in the hall; but will be presented by class teachers in their classrooms.
Awards will also be presented at the award ceremony for Instrumental Music and Choir recognising high achievement. Participation certificates for these subjects will be presented in class.
