Prep

​Narangba State School conducts prep enrolment interviews for students starting prep the following year. Children need to be five by 30 June in the year they commence prep. Please complete the registration form and someone will contact you to arrange a suitable interview time.

What to bring:

 
  • Proof of age (a birth certificate or passport) must be provided for all children entering prep.
  • If you are coming from interstate or overseas you must have a birth certificate or acceptable proof of birth e.g. extract or passport.
  • Report cards and records of previous schooling are helpful particularly with interstate enrolments.
  • Emergency contacts.
  • Special needs information for a child being placed into our special education unit.
  • Reports from specialists or medical practitioners and health workers help us to meet the needs of your child.
  • Medication forms need to be completed if your child has any specific problem requiring the administration of medication. These medications must have clear written instructions about quantity and time of administration. 
 

The Department of Education and Training through Narangba State School is collecting personal information in accordance with the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 (PDF, 1MB) in order to register your interest in enrolling your child to attend prep. The information will only be accessed by employees of the Department of Education and Training. The information will not be given to any other person or agency unless prior consent is obtained.
