Enrolment process
Thank you for considering Narangba State School for your child’s education. Please take time to read the following important information before completing the enrolment application package.
Narangba State School has a School Enrolment Management Plan. Please check our enrolment management plan.
Please make sure that you live in our catchment prior to making your appointment for an interview with the school. You can check which catchment you live in by typing your address into the following EdMap - Queensland school catchment website .
Enrolment packs can be collected in person from the school office. Please contact the office to organise an enrolment interview with a relevant deputy principal.
Parents or caregivers must be the adults enrolling the students.
What to bring:
Birth certificate or acceptable proof of birth e.g. extract or passport.
- Report cards and records of previous schooling, particularly with interstate enrolments.
Emergency contacts.
Special needs information for a child being placed into our special education unit.
Reports from specialists or medical practitioners and health workers if applicable.
Medication forms are to be completed if your child requires staff to administer medication. These medications must have clear written instructions about quantity and time of administration.
The Department of Education through Narangba State School is collecting personal information in accordance with the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 in order to register your child/ren to attend school. The information will only be accessed by employees of the Department of Education. The information will not be given to any other person or agency unless prior consent is obtained.
