The aim of a chaplain at Narangba State School is to support the emotional wellbeing of students by providing pastoral care services and strategies that support the emotional wellbeing of the broader school community. The chaplain is in the school 2 days a week on Tuesday and Thursday.
The chaplain at Narangba:
- Works with the school team to support student engagement as well as student, staff and parent wellbeing
- Provides pastoral care to students
- Operates within the school community and with external providers (if required)
Referrals to the chaplain need to be made through your child’s teacher or through the principal or deputy principals.
