Narangba State School was established in 1910. It is situated in the North Coast Region of Education Queensland, is a school of approximately 700 students.
The school has 28 classrooms, music classroom, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) room, special education unit, library and a multi-purpose hall.
The library has a lab of twenty-eight laptops and an air-conditioned lab in C block with twenty-eight computers. Our STEM room has a pod of 11 laptops and 15 iPads for student activities. Classrooms in years 4 to 6 have computers for independent student use as well as a shared bank of 15 laptops.
Narangba State School currently uses Windows10 and Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 365 for applications across the school. We have a local area network linking all curriculum computers in the school as well as wireless access in every room. Network printers are located in each teaching block and in the library.
Recreational facilities include three large adventure playgrounds, two all-weather play areas, two ovals, cricket nets and a multi-purpose court.
