Thank you for considering Narangba State School for your child’s education. Please take time to read the following important information before completing the enrolment application package.
Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for your child's education. It is now a compulsory year of schooling. It is a full-time program with children attending each day from Monday to Friday during the normal school hours of 8:50 am to 3:00 pm.
To be considered / eligible for enrolment at Narangba State School please view the Department's Prep ready reckoner calculator to determine when your child can commence their preparatory year.
Enrolment packs can be collected in person from the school office. Please contact the office to organise an enrolment interview with the Principal.
Narangba State School conducts prep enrolment interviews for students starting prep the following year. Children need to be five by 30 June in the year they commence prep.
What to bring:
Proof of age (a birth certificate or passport) must be provided for all children entering prep.
If you are coming from interstate or overseas you must have a birth certificate or acceptable proof of birth e.g. extract or passport.
Report cards and records of previous schooling are helpful particularly with interstate enrolments.
Emergency contacts.
Reports from specialists or medical practitioners and health workers help us to meet the needs of your child.
